Danny was in scintillating form for the Witches in their first meeting of 2010 against the Lakeside Hammers. Danny scored 13 points including a heat 15 victory and new track record.
A jubilant Danny said afterward "It was a great night. I love the new track although it was very slippy early on".
The Ipwich Witches needed a 5-1 going into the last heat and Danny was paired up with Scott Nicholls. The two shot out of the gate and ensured their first meeting of the season was a success beating Lakeside 47-43.
Danny didn't have long to recover as the next day he was due to fly out to Poland for a challenge match.
