Ipswich, tonight suffered a heavy blow losing 39-53 to the Lakeside Hammers. In a poor evening for the Ipswich side, Danny came third in the scoring with 7, which included a four point haul after coming second as a tactical ride. Danny started the evening well, finishing 2nd in his first race and scoring a 3-3 with fellow Witch Miskowiak.
After this race, he was tasked with trying to gain double points using the tactical ride option and Danny again came second behind Lee Richardson for the Hammers.
Danny's night then took a turn for the worse, coming third in heat heat nine where he did pick up a crucial point to make the heat a 4-2 with Miskowiak winning that heat. Unfortunately, in heat 14 Danny came in last following reserve Dawid Stachyra with the Hammers pairing taking maximum points.
