Ipswich Witches
There isn’t much to report in the Danny King Racing camp this week following Thursday night’s rained-off meeting at Foxhall Heath where the Ipswich Witches were due to take on table toppers the Poole Pirates.
A heavy shower around 5pm left the track heavily flooded in places and racing a complete no go. Frustrating for Danny and his Witches ream mates especially as it was to be their first outing as a septet including the new signings of Chris Slabon and Kozza Smith who have been brought in to replace Olly Allen and Carl Wilkinson respectively.
This therefore gives us an opportunity to look into the Cambridgeshire engine room of Danny King Racing and show for the first time what goes on in the workshop, what Danny gets up to in the week leading up to a meeting and there’s also a little bit of flamboyance thrown in as only speedway riders do so well!
Please take a look at the updated gallery link on this website and you’ll gain an insight into the work that goes on such as cleaning, care and attention to clutch detail and all things tlc towards a speedway machine.
Please keep revisiting Danny’s website for further photographic updates and reports of his performances both in the UK and abroad.
